Edinburgh MSP, Kezia Dugdale today welcomed S3 and S4 modern studies pupils from Castlebrae Community High School to the Scottish Parliament for a tour and a question and answer session.
Kezia Dugdale MSP visited Castlebrae High School last year to meet with pupils and senior staff including Headteacher, Norma Prentice, and took a tour of the school before learning more about the upcoming new school build development.
Commenting on the pupils visit to Parliament Kezia Dugdale MSP said:
“It was great to welcome such an enthusiastic, interested and engaged group of S3 and S4 modern studies pupils to the Scottish Parliament for a tour and a question and answer session.
“All the pupils were really interested in learning more about the work of an MSP, how the Parliament operates and even how they could become more involved in politics themselves.
“Ensuring that MSPs and the Parliament is as open and accessible as possible as well as welcoming to schools and Edinburgh’s young people is more important than ever as we engage with a new generation of voters as the Parliament marks its 20th anniversary.”
